From what we've seen I've managed to seduce that kitae Kim's path depends on the opponent he is facing. His path works when an opponent feels fear and despair,the amount of damage he takes from such an opponent is significantly reduced. If you look at Daniel fighting him at the beginning,he was afraid and had despair which prevented him from landing attack with significant damage but as soon as his future self encouraged him to get past his wall of fear he landed a solid hit and even jinyoung realised this at the end.take UI Dani for example his attack were landing and dealing damage on kitae since he can't feel anything while unconscious. THIS IS where Jake's path comes in ,which I believe will be the ability to overcome and bypass anyone's path and unique skill. Morei think it will involve taking down an opponent in a single conviction filled punch or he will have the ability boost the AP OF his punches to their maximum ability thereby dealing significant damage also Jake isn't someone to easily fall into despair thereby bypassing Kitae.
