so it's almost May lol and I've narrowed it down to two options. for context, i'm a black woman living in texas so i pretty much have to get a masters degree to excel. and i really don't want to be a civil engineer or even get a degree in that field but my parents are pushing for it so i have something to fall back on
texas tech - duel degree architecture and civil engineering
lsu - architecture
pros vs cons so far
lsu
- naab b.arch degree so i can become licesened faster
- more academically manageable for me
- seems like it has a solid studio culture
- less tecnical depth
- not really a networking area as i've heard
ttu
- technical college
- better prepartion for the real world of construction (civil aspect)
- architecture is not accreditted at undergrad so i'd have to do a masters to get licensed
edit: i'm comitted!! Geaux Tigers!!
