AGA with Chronic TE.

Cortisone Injections!

Just finished 10 months of topical minoxidil with good results. I was looking forward to adding a bit of oral minoxidil to the mix. However, started another episode of TE 6 weeks ago. It happens every year, sometimes twice a year. I have no external stressors in my life.

After really investigating my daily calendar from years past, I discovered that my routine cortisone injections for my knee and my carpal tunnel, happen about 2 months before the TE starts. AI says it can cause TE, as it is a shock to the system. Hopefully, this is actually the cause! Now, I can find other treatments and avoid the injections.

Looking forward to this TE ending, and minoxidil having a positive effect again!
