I was kicked out around 2 weeks ago. I need to get my cat back.

For context I bought him and have his medical records on me. I needed to get my finances in order before I could even attempt to get him back as I am 18.

Looking for any advice as I have contacted peel police but my mother is convinced someone is out to get her, so she wont pick up the phone for private numbers. Aka the police have been unable to get in contact with her..

Any advice? I have proof I paid for him. Would I need to contact legal aid and go to court if she refuses to give my cat back to me?
