Stupid question incoming:

I’m getting a puppy (golden retriever) the last week in May. I have to travel when he is 11 weeks old for a weekend to see family. He will be coming with me- I will be brining his crate and keeping on our normal schedule but my only question is taking bathroom breaks for him along the way? What is the safest way to do this since he won’t be fully vaccinated? Or any other tips?
