Sorry for the Facebook link lol. This is Harvard Ave. in Cleveland, OH, my hometown. While there are many things I love about my city, one thing I absolutely loathe is how its residents never seem to want anything to actually be better. Everybody just wants the same business-as-usual and they cannot even seem to fathom a world where people get around by any other means than a car. Seriously. As soon as you talk to someone about doing something, it's "what's the parking situation like?" "I don't like driving on that road." "There's no good way to get there from the freeway."
And the thing that's scary is the dude throwing a temper tantrum is actually pretty representative of how the laymen around this city thinks. People come out in droves to try to shut down bike lanes because "NoBoDy BiKeS In ThIS CiTy." (more-so in the suburbs, but definitely some neighborhoods of CLE as well). I just want to fucking scream YOU DON'T SEE BIKE TRAFFIC BECAUSE BIKES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO GRIDLOCK. God! You don't need a degree in civil engineering to understand this!
Okay sorry, /rant haha.
