Little bit of background: The famlies house has recently acquired Starlink Internet, and i believe is using an existing Wireless router with both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands, including guest wifi. I have the names and passwords for all of them. I stay in an RV travel trailer about 120 feet away from the house ( too far for Ethernet to be ran to it ). I Have an Archer AC1700 from 2014 that's become unreliable with power fluctuations. To remedy that I bought a TPLink BE400 / BE6500. I had the old Archer 1700 setup, was in a WDS bridge mode, where the 2.4Ghz band would Scan for the home wifi signal, and I would plug in the network password and viola, connected to internet through my own router connected to theirs. I cannot find any such option on this new router. Anytime I find some option, I'm hit with something that is impossible, weather that be setting it up as an Access point.. that requires a hardline ethernet connection to the main router, cant do that. Or changing the router mode to be a wireless access point ( which makes the user interface inaccessible ). Every video or search result I can look up, always references older hardware which isn't relevant anymore. I have some suspicion that setting up the Easy Mesh whatever using the WPS button may work, but have 2-3 other things thats possible but i'm trying to avoid that as the home owner is VERY particular about his tech and i don't want to ask to do 2-3 different things to log into his network setup stuff or push buttons on his router when it wasn't needed before.

Any advice or did I buy the wrong router for this type of setup?
