Been watching other series play out and am noticing a heavy shift to that greasy dirty play thug style of hockey the Florida made their signature. I really hate this trend. Even Colorado is out there hitting players in the face with the butt end of their stick. Worse than all the crosschecks and slashes and the like are the refs swallowing their whistles leading to bigger infractions...
I am glad the Canes prefer to play above that level, but I don't want another dirty hit on one of our younger guys like Nikishin in the first round simply because the other team lacks the skill to beat us.
