I had a 270 toupet fundoplication wrap in Oct 2025 along with a hiatal hernia repair. It failed 4 months later and things are worse than before. I choose a surgeon who does hundreds of these a year, including redo’s from other surgeons and is well known and recommended by serval other doctors in my area (large city). I did my research and he is legit a great surgeon and specializes in these types of surgeries, and even presents and trainings other surgeons at a well know medical university
Any success stories or recommendations for those of you who’ve had a redo within a short time. I feel lost and like this hell will never end. For those 4 months it did work life was great. I would love to be in that place permanently.
Would appreciate replies from those who’ve been through something similar or doctors with expertise.
