What do y'all think? Is it time to move on?

The Bad:

-Faded paint

-Missing door handle

-Broken parking brake

-Every body panel is dinged up

-Parasitic electrical leak

-Stock suspension is getting close to shot

-Both sun visors are broken off

-Passenger's side dash is basically a frag grenade if I crash

-Will probably need another cat pretty soon and eventually another rebuild

-Gets about 16mpg and runs premium while gas prices are quickly becoming absurd

-Fixing it and keeping it running costs way damn more than the car is worth

The Good:

-No compression issues... yet

-Makes a glorious fuckin noise at 9000 rpm

-Still fun as shit to drive

-I personally love the styling, even when it's beat up like a dirty rug

-Had it for over 10 years and I'm sentimentally attached

Maybe y'all can tip the scale and help me figure out what the hell to do with it. Fire away.

I have an MSA Millennium which I've been using outside in the sun and I would very much like to add some UV protection, both for my eyes, and for preventing the visor from turning yellow. Or at least slowing the process down as much as possible. I know there are UV rated dark tinted lens outserts specifically made for these masks. I've considered just buying one of those. But I don't actually want my face to be entirely hidden. I'd prefer something that's basically clear so I can still make eye contact with others while I'm wearing it.

I'm considering something like film for commercial/residential windows or ceramic tint designed for windshields. I'm planning on checking with some local tint shops tomorrow to see if they'll sell me a small section of the stuff. Photochromic tint designed for motorcycle helmets also might be kind of cool.

I'm curious if anyone else has tried something similar or has any better ideas. Clear lenses are much, much cheaper than the factory tinted ones, so I'd ultimately be willing to try a couple different options. Cheers.
