JPG 42 experimental love
So, after years of saying I don’t like the JPG shoulder Birkin, I found myself pining for one. After many months of plotting and obsessing, I was still torn about getting a 42 vs 29. The 29 seemed like an “easier” choice, but the 42 and how it demands attention also appealed to me. I did what any reasonable bag-a-holic would do- I got a starter one as an experiment. You know, just to see if I like it 🤪🫠
For reference, I am about 6 ft tall. I knew the 42 would be big but I was not prepared for how heavy it is. Due to how heavy it is, it’s not a good choice for schlepping all day.
JPG shoulder 42- technically fits on my shoulder but cannot wear it on my shoulder. My friend who is smaller than me could not really wear it on her shoulder comfortably, either.

PS- I’m purposely not sharing the seller because I’m tired of the negativity and this post is more about the size and style and not the quality of this particular bag- although I think it’s excellent quality for what I paid 💅🏻
PPS- I just got a facial and my aesthetician has a huge mirror, which I don’t have so please be kind lol
