Hi all. I've been intrigued by the updated CSR offer for 150,000 points and I'm considering to apply. I've had the Sapphire Preferred since July 2025 and have had 2 checking accounts with Chase since 2008.

Alongside the preferred, I also have:

Capital One VentureX,

Capital One Savor,

Capital One Platinum

Discover IT

My total available credit being $24,200 ($8,600 of that is my Sapphire Preferred if that's important).

I was hoping you guys could give me any general thoughts or ideas on what my chances of approval are.

I know nothing is guaranteed but I thought I'd turn to you guys and see what y'all think.

Ex: 707 TU: 704 EQ: 706 (Scores were in the 740's a few days ago but I had bit more spend on my cards last month, so my utilization increased from 13% to 17% hence the drop).

Do you guys think I'd be approved? Thanks for the insight!

Note: I'm fine with waiting a bit longer and implementing AZEO before applying, I just don't want to miss this elevated sub, given there is no end date for it yet and I'm not sure how long it will go for.

Hi everyone. I currently have 5 cards and my question was regarding my average age of accounts. Here are the cards I have opened so far:

VentureX- $10,000 CL (opened December 2025)

Sapphire Preferred- $8,600 CL (opened July 2025)

Discover It- $4,600 (opened June 2024)

Capital One Savor- $700 CL (can't get this to increase for the life of me) (opened November 2024)

Capital One Platinum- $300 (opened May 2024)

My oldest card (the platinum) is 2 years old and my AAoA is 1 year and 4 months. I would like to open another card. I'm not worried about the hard pull, I could care less about that.

If I open another card it will again decrease my AAoA. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is my AAoA important to the point where it could affect me later? If I was to open a new card today, what would it do to my AAoA?

I know it's10% or 15% of my score and I'm just not quite sure how one builds that metric while opening new cards. What do you guys think I should do? Hope this makes sense.
