Hello, I have a question that I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced something similar. (I have been and will continue seeing care providers)
Background I’ve been dealing with mystery health issues that includes orthostatic intolerance, tachycardia, and other autonomic issues that doesn’t fit any nice diagnostic category. Also recently found out I have signs of small fiber neuropathy, plus I’ve been dealing with wicked back pain.
Few weeks ago I started noticing that my arms looked kinda weird with a faint webbed pattern, eventually getting more noticeable. Currently it’s a lot more defined on my arms and legs, plus semi prominent on my trunk. It’s not like to the extent that google shows when you search mottled skin, but it went from nothing to noticeable every time I look in the mirror within weeks. I have a family history of blood clots so my GPA tested me for antiphospholipid syndrome, and all three primary indicators came back negative.
The really weird this is that it seems to correlate with positional changes. It’s calm or not even there when I first get up or after a long rest, but the more I’m up/moving around it becomes more noticeable. I’m baffled. Doesn’t hurt, no ulcers, doesn’t get affected by temperature.
Anyone else have a similar experience? I have my initial consultation with a cardiologist soon, so even insight on questions to consider asking them would be helpful. Thanks for reading!
