first time posting on here but i’m genuinely just overwhelmed and could use some advice. or maybe even just a place to write out my thoughts with yall that understand💜
soo i just finished university and instantly got kicked off my insurance (only a two days notice with my 3 month checkup with rheum on the 12th) i’ve submitted an appeal, but of course that takes time. meaning allll my appointments have been cancelled
i just received my last benlysta delivery, and im just super worried. how long is too long without medication? no idea how insurance works, so what if i can’t get any in time? (freshly 23 just trying to figure out life over here)
ironically, this is the first time since being diagnosed (4 years) that i 100% knew i would be actively flaring during a checkup because these past 3 months have been kicking my butt but lol that’s lupus timing for ya!!😒
i’ve tried reaching out to my rheumatologist regarding my situation, but no response:(( front desk just says they’ll leave a message, but nothing has been returned so far.
just overwhelmed, trying to enjoy celebrations for my graduation in two weeks but man it’s hard when things can get so scary so quick!! any advice? should i try spreading out my weekly injections? soo lost 🥲
