I don't know if its right sub for asking this or not but still. Hey recently I got selected in Bank of Baroda as CSA (Clerk) in Uttar Pradesh. I am from Gorakhpur, UP.
I got 90 marks in OBC category. Cutoff was 78 ig. I have question regarding home posting in BOB. Home posting, according to me is within 60-70 km radius.

1 -> Do home posting preferences depend on marks?

2 -> Probability of getting home posting?

3 -> Suppose i dont get home posting, can I get home posting in next transfer? (Ig transfer happens after 3 years)

4 -> Any other information you know about home posting and transfers.

Hi there, I recently got selected for the IBPS Clerk exam. I was very happy because I was preparing for CGL but was in desperate need of any gov. job. After scrolling through various social media platforms, I found out that PSU jobs are not considered government jobs. But when I talk to people offline, they say it's a government job. I'm in a great confusion like should I be happy as someone who cracked CGL or just be in a dilemma that in future the government may sell its share and privatise it.
