Thought I’d share my current collection now that it finally feels “done” for where I’m at.

I’ve got a ~6” wrist, so finding watches that actually fit well has always been the biggest challenge. Over time I realized I naturally prefer smaller proportions — around that 34–36mm range where things feel balanced instead of overwhelming.

I didn’t really set out to collect watches. Each piece just ended up marking a moment:

- Tissot PRX 35mm – my first watch. Loved how wearable it was, but eventually let it go since it stopped getting wrist time after I picked up other pieces.

- Cartier Santos Galbée – bought after finishing college in Switzerland. This one made me appreciate proportions and design. Usually on leather when I want something clean and more formal.

- Omega SMP 300 midsize – to celebrate landing my first full-time job as a cook. This is basically my kitchen watch now — always on rubber, easy, durable, and something I don’t have to think twice about during service.

- Breitling B09 – my wedding watch. Wears larger on my wrist (around 47mm L2L), which makes it feel a bit more special. Mostly kept on a brown NATO — casual but still meaningful.

- Rolex OP34 Red Grape (114200) – newest addition for my promotion to sous chef. This will probably be my daily. I like how it wears almost like a bracelet with a dial — subtle but still has personality depending on the light.

Over time I realized I don’t enjoy having too many options — I’d rather each watch have a clear role instead of choosing between similar pieces. Between bracelet, leather, and rubber, I feel like I’ve got every situation covered without overlap.

For now, I’m just enjoying the rotation instead of chasing the next piece.

Curious what you guys think — would you keep it as is or change anything?
