Hey guys! I’ve posted a couple times, but wondering if anyone can help. I received 80 units of Botox on April 25th. I am burping for sure, definitely more comfortable throughout the day, and can drink fizzy drinks! But one thing I was really hoping to see a difference in with surgery is bloating. I wake up every morning around 8am and by 10 or 11 my stomach is just huge without even eating anything. And it has not gotten any better after surgery. I rarely ever eat breakfast and 90% of the liquid I drink is just water. Did anyone else have this problem? Should I just keep waiting to see changes? Or is there something I could take everyday to help start to see a difference? Any comment/help is appreciated :)))

Hey everyone! I had 80 units of botox injected on the 24th. So I am day 5 post op. Everything has been great so far! Soooo so so many microburps throughout the day and luckily for me the slow swallow has been totally manageable. Only one complaint so far, but I know it’s still only day 5 and is subject to change. Before getting the botox I struggled with acid reflux but after getting it, it has almost seemed to be even more severe especially after eating. I can feel it bubble up in the back of my throat, and have microburped with regurgitation twice now (gross, sorry). I’m wondering if anyone else experienced an increase in acid reflux after the injection? How long did it last at its worst? What did you do to relieve it? Help!!! Thank you!
