League Rules
Alright y’all, I went ahead and joined the local Country Club and signed up for league.
I’ve been a once a year player for the last 5 years, and started playing once a few times a month last year. The bug bit me hard, but I’m still very much a beginner (25 hcp), especially not playing solo or with randoms.
My question is - are there any unspoken rules I should be aware of with league play vs regular? I’m assuming strict scoring, no gimmies or mulligans - but are there any other non-obvious things I should be prepared for?
Things like - are rangefinders allowed? What about apps/watches? Do I have to keep score on a scorecard or is an app fine? Should I use a yardage book? How closely do I need to pay attention to our opponents?
I’m really excited to start Thursday!
