My friend and I are trying to play Mario Kart 8 Ultimate. We entered the same code using RyuLDN and connected to the game, but sometimes I get a “You have been disconnected” error right as the game starts, and other times I get it directly in the menu, and my friend loses the connection too. When my friend starts the server, he gets the same error. The issue persists even when we disable P2P, and the ldn_mitm mode doesn’t work at all—it just gets stuck on an endless loading screen. We’re playing with “Guest Internet Access/LAN Mode” enabled.
