So if a guy ask you out and you said no, how long would you feel awkward around that person? Would you avoid them or would you feel more comfortable around them somehow?

Edit: im asking this because im afraid i might be making things awkward for trying to keep interacting with her. Yes i still like her, but i just want to be friendly toward her, but i will stop if this actually bothers her.
