I got rejected B1/B2 in Oct 2024 with the reason 214(b) - not enough ties with home country. We are a couple who like travelling and are casually applying for US visa for tourism purposes.

They asked below questions in the first interview:

Where do you work?
Stated my company in Bangalore

What’s the job?
Software Engineer

Your Monthly in hand salary?
2L/month

Where are you visiting in US?
California

Whom are you visiting:
A friend (I should have told no one? Visiting some tourist place instead?)

“Your visa is rejected”

I have an upcoming interview for the same visa in HYD.

What things should I keep in mind? Considering the answers I provided in the last interview?

In DS160, I have just mentioned that we are travelling to las vegas.
