I’m trying to identify the maker of this beautiful trinket box that I got at an auction. It’s signed “CM 90” on the bottom in a stylized font. I believe the 90 means it was made in 1990, which fits the post modern design of the box.

I tried reverse image searching the box and the signature and going down that endless rabbit hole and while I did find another box with this exact shape, in this same wood, that was constructed in the exact same way as this one listed for sale, it wasn’t signed and unfortunately it didn’t have any info about the maker or type of wood in the listing.

Any help with any info on this lovely box would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
