Adult money deserves adult toys (not that kind but also yes)
Thought I should make a post to give hope to those that aren’t very computers savvy. Or even for those without a computer to setup your Thor.
The guides from Retro Game Corps and Joey Handheld helped me set up my Thor with no computer at all, despite being pretty computer-illiterate outside of what I need for work in Microsoft Office. I honestly couldn’t really tell you what RAM or memory even is.
There were so many games and things I wanted to do on a computer, but my genius self bought a Mac, so a lot of stuff always felt out of reach for me. It’s practically gone unused and packed away for the five years since purchased.
That being said, I’ve always loved the idea of emulators. Since I mainly use Apple products, discovering Delta was the most I could really do for the past year. I played a ton of ROM hacks, but I kept hearing I wasn’t even close to emulating to the full potential.
That’s when I started looking into the Ayn Thor and here I am a proud owner of one. I wish I could customize some more like I see you guys do but I’ve already pushed far beyond my comfort zone in just getting it setup and running.
Thanks to RGC, Joey and Ayn for these past 2 weeks and times to come.
TLDR: If I could do it, you can too.
