Wanted to know if there are any recent travelers or foreign residents who may have had family visiting that had some form of health insurance. Read recently that although rare, it is still a good idea for visiting family for longer stays to have emergency health and dental insurance especially if coming from the USA. Most airlines propose travel insurance but doesn’t include health/dental.
Specifically my parents are near 80 but mobile and will visit for 3 weeks.
Does anyone have experience with this or even better some recommendations? That can include not recommending having any insurance, so all feedback is welcome. Obviously it needs to be reasonable but if it’s cost prohibitive then certainly a consideration too.
