Black Well Devil is a difficult, foddian platformer where you try to escape from the depths of Hell after being overthrown as the ruler, with the help of a giant hand, inspired by games like Jump King and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.

Stylistically the game is quite varied, mixing depictions of demons and monsters from medieval codices with architecture and art from the early 1900s, mainly Art Deco in its visuals, while the soundtrack is heavily inspired by space age pop.
