A little over half a year ago, I posted a drawing about a crossover of Murder Drones and Metroid I call “Murder Drones: Valkyrie”. Since then, I’ve always wanted to make something more out of it. Especially with how the post was received. But I don’t trust my own writing skills enough to make a fanfic on Wattpad or whatever. So, I just consider it an AU. That said, I have conjured up ideas for a layout of a theoretical story, which I’d like to share here since I put this on hold for too long.
Bear in mind, MD:V isn’t 100% accurate to the original series, since I had to make some compromises to better fit the two worlds together.
Before the events of Murder Drones, JCJenson would make an agreement with the Galactic Federation for the approval of exoplanet excavation. After the Copper-9 implosion and losing contact with five other offworld colonies, JCJenson would fall into bankruptcy, and the Federation would remove Copper-9 from their star charts, considering the planet lost. Though nobody saw a connection initially, an apprehended Worker Drone -- retrieved for research of its biological components -- was mysteriously missing from cryostorage, thus kickstarting the events of this universe’s Murder Drones.
In a hypothetical story taking place a year after the series’ events, Copper-9’s destruction and repair would draw the attention of an alien faction, the last remaining colony of the Space Pirates, who saw an opportunity to colonize a thought-to-be unpopulated planet. Their presence would fly under the radar until a pirate raiding vessel would be chased down by a particular space hunter, ultimately leading to Copper-9. With the effort of Uzi, N and V, they had managed to defend Outpost 3, but the rest of their world was still on the line. It wasn’t until the trio decided to find the source of the pirate attacks that they would cross paths with the aforementioned hunter, Samus Aran. Though at first reluctant, they would end up forming an alliance, having similar goals in mind and each side knowing something the other didn’t.
Oh, and Uzi's got the railgun back.
