How to discuss Peptides w/ science deniers
So I am now on a week long vacation with family and this is the first they’ve see me since I started TRT in Nov and Reta in Dec. I’ve lost almost 70lbs and put on/kept decent muscle. So the results are undeniable, but apparently the science behind it is not. My little brother is 40 but his life would be so much better if I could convince him that researching peptides would help old injuries and give a much higher quality of life.
My family is very conservative and anti science. We learned this during Covid unfortunately as healthcare became political. Today I mistakenly started off explaining amino acids and my latest bloodwork results 😂, I should’ve known better that was only gonna make it more difficult for him to get me.
I just want my family healthy, and I’m not interested in changing their political/religious affiliations per se, that ship has sailed and sunk BUT, is there a way to “wrap the pill in bologna or peanut butter”? Is there a good talking point that I can use that an anti science Christian would accept? How can I make this less scientific and more “spiritual or alternative”?
This is a lot of words for “My lil brother won’t take peptides to heal because he doesn’t want to not rely on God for healing”.
I fear the answer is “You don’t” and I just have to watch my brother live with pain the rest of his life. Seriously many advice would be greatly appreciated.
