My friend was done with this thing,so it’s my new project now.

I’ve been playing around with it and honestly,it’s hilarious.It sounds like a jet engine taking off,but the moment you actually touch it to a surface,it just... stops.

Since it was free,I’m open to suggestions. Should I try to overvolt it until it lets the magic smoke out,or try to repurpose the shell for a better motor?Let me know what you think!

Hello again!

I was disassembling a broken standard 16x2 LCD screen today and these pink rubber “things” fell out.

I’ve always wondered how the PCB actually talks to the glass display without any wires or solder,and apparently,these are the answer.

I did a bit of digging and found out they are called Zebra Connectors (Elastomeric Connectors).From what I gather,they are made of alternating layers of conductive carbon and insulating silicone.

But now a good question would be:

-What can you really use them for?
