Normally I wouldn't be able to justify setting a stone like this into a wrap, but this feels like it was ment to be. .9ct montana sapphire I found amd cut, accented by tanzanite and tsavorite garnets.

Some projects just stand out when they are finished, and this one has been stuck in my mind for a while. I made it about 3 years ago, using an Amazing opal, sapphires, Tsavorites, and white and yellow diamonds set into the frame. I feel like its time to try this type of project again, and see if I can do even half this well, as this one was simply ment to be i suspect.
Ive been asked about how i do my frames quite a few times, so I figured id share a progress Pic, and talk about where I learned which parts of the method I use. So, I learned alot of my basics from tutorials The Art of Wire put out, and for bigger wraps often id integrate solid frame wrapping similar to what ive seen Valk9Designs show in his tutorials. I have always preferred the smooth bold feel that using thick half round wire gives to rhe face of a project, and it works great. Over the ladt 5 years ive learned alot in jewelry making, traditional silver smithing, fabrication, stone setting, several variations of wirewrapping, and even lapidary arts such as finding and faceting the montana sapphire in this piece. I think the jewelry i like making the most is in this style, tho its been dope to cut some of the stones for them myself!
I know i have a bad reputation for using stones like this as accents, but it just felt evil to do that to this emerald.
