I upgraded to a Pixel Watch 4 LTE about a month ago and had no issues with it. Before that, I've had a Pixel Watch 3 and a Pixel Watch 2 with no issues (I also have a Pixel Phone 9). All of a sudden last Friday (after installing a Fitbit update on my watch) my calories barely started tracking (counting like 30 calories/hour and showing ZERO calories burned during an hour lifting session). The heart rate and step count are still accurate, just calories.

After spending 2 hours on customer service chat on Friday, I factory reset my watch and the issue resolved. Then this Monday morning, the same exact issue happened. After spending another 2 hours chatting with customer service, they sent me a new watch.

I received this watch yesterday and set it up and everything was working without issue. Then this morning, the same issue started. I went on chat again and after refusing ANOTHER new watch to be sent, I was transferred to Fitbit help. After I was talked down to for another hour (explaining what calories are and that they can vary based on height, weight, and exertion levels) the woman I was chatting with literally was like "Okay, well let us know if the problem persists."

I told her that the problem was very much persisting and asked to be escalated. Now I'm STILL chatting, and was asked to send screenshots of my calories burned for the last few days. I have been tracking calories burned with and without smart watches for 20 years... I know what my calories burned SHOULD be. The issue is clearly this update.

I'm very close to returning this watch and getting a Garmin. Anyone else experiencing this?
