We yoinked a vehicle like two years ago from a completely different MPOO group, completely different VMF, etc. The losing PM didn't care. They never used it. It hasn't had any problems yet but when it does, will anyone notice or care?

Then that got me thinking, I've seen the MPOO driving around with Postal plates in a Subaru. I assume district owns the car but who works on it? It's probably not registered with the state so does the VMF keep control of ownership? How does this work?
