So... Last Tuesday I posted this, asking for help to decide my combos for the tournament. I was already decided on 2 of them and really wanted to use Phoenix Flare (and I'm glad I did). Yesterday I took them to the combat zone and they did great! I only lost to one person (on 0-4, but we don't talk about that) at group phase and then I proceeded to win the whole thing. Mind you I don't own an arena yet so the only practice I got was a little before the tournament started. The first prize was a Bahamut Blitz starter, which I didn't have yet so that's very nice (even though unfortunately it was the only prize that the organizers couldn't buy on time).
All in all, I'm really glad I could get the best result from Phoenix and also put the Clock Mirage to the test of winning against every Wizard Rod I faced. I know it's very burst pron (and it proved to be, lol) but it was a meta call that I thought would be worth running considering the parts I have.
Anyway, thanks for reading and please comment you favorite Flare combos, as well as suggestions on how to improve my Bahamut to come!
