Roadtrip (end April/early May)
I’m going to Norway next week, and this is my plan. I’d appreciate your feedback.
Day 1 Arrive in Oslo late morning and spend the day exploring the city.
Day 2 Visit the city until the evening, then fly to Bergen. Pick up the rental car and stay the night near the airport.
Day 3 Road trip through Steinsdalsfossen, Norheimsund, and Låtefossen. Stay in Odda.
Day 4 Tyssedal hike (Trolltunga closed). Road trip through Røldal, Vøringsfossen, and Eidfjord. Stay near Eidfjord or Gudvangen.
Day 5 Gudvangen (cruise and maybe a hike). Stay in Flåm or nearby.
Day 6 Flåm Railway and Stegastein. Finish the day in Bergen.
Day 7 Visit Bergen.
Day 8 Flight at lunchtime.
My main questions:
- Should I go more to the south, it deserves the long trip?
- Should I go more to the north? Is the weather okay at this time of the year or some roads are still closed?
