Both plants are getting partial sun - there is morning sun until noon. We are in Southern California, so the weather is generally good. Both plants are watered 1-2 times a week. I am pretty sure the first plant is sick or dying.

The first plant has purple flowers, but I’m not sure what it is. I cut the dead flowers off this morning. There seems to be some new growth, but the leaves are very droopy and getting discolored. There is also a brain like growth at the roots.

The second plant has white and purple flowers when in bloom. I’m not sure what it is either. It has nice new leaves at the bottom.

I’m just curious how best to care for them. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
