Potty Training Help Please!
We are fostering a 13 week old husky/gsd mix. He was in a home before where he only peed/pooped inside on puppy pads. We need advice to get him peeing and pooping outside!!
We will stay outside with him for 2-3 hours (clarifying, we just spend a lot of time outside as a family) we also do potty walks every 30 or so minutes- no pee. Then he goes inside, we tell him no- bring him right out- still nothing. We tried crate, outside, crate, outside etc etc but still nothing. He peed and pooped outside 1 time his first day with us, tons and tons of praise and not again. Not at all food motivated. Vet checked and no health concerns!
We’ve tried different ground types, long walks, or staying in one spot, pee pad outside etc. we keep him leashed inside and he’s within 2 feet of me at all times!
