I finally got my dream score!!!
I recently retook listening and got a 1.5 increase!
Writing was definitely my worst skill. I only had IELTS Advantages resources (youtube videos, model essays,…) and some tutoring. I consistently got 7.5-8.0, but I guess my flu really got the best of me 🥲
Only two skills I had to practice for a lot was reading and listening. For reading specifically I noticed the questions followed the flow of the reading most of the time, so I often read the questions and options first before reading the passages and look in my answers.
I think I got lucky with speaking too, and I spoke naturally and casually like to a friend.
These tips of course only apply to people who already are proficient in English and want to have higher bands from 7.5 onwards.
Im unfortunately will be taking many, and I mean many courses and exams. I wont be able to reply to everyone so I wish you all the best of luck and happy testing!!!
