Just doing some mental pre-planning and wanting to maybe switch up my schedule this year. Last year I started ~10 and didn't really enjoy it as I have a 2hr commute each way.
Currently 3rd year and planning on TAing again. Anyone have any opinions on this matter?
Does it get easier to make friends in 3rd + year? I found it incredibly difficult in first years as everyone seemed to have some group to fall back to already (guessing its a living on campus perk)
I wanted to share something that I found pretty interesting.
Last month I noticed in one week i had NINE HOURS of screen time per day on average and I kind of just felt disappointed. I would pretty often think to myself that the day is too short or that I'm just too busy to do anything. Maybe its a stupid point or realization, but I simply had had enough and decided to delete Instagram and TikTok and I'm pretty happy to see my average has gone down to ~3.5 hours (mainly just reading articles or researching things on the train, etc)
I found I had a lot more time in the day; more than I knew what to do with LOL. It's made things a little easier on my mind as well. I find doing Leetcode easier. I find sleeping easier. I find thinking easier. I assume most people know about the brain fog that I'm talking about.

Try deleting it for a week. It wouldn't do you any more harm than it causes, would it?
Graduation date is planned for May 2029 right now and my last year will only be 1 term of classes.... So thinking about doing a 6th cs co-op either term 1 or term 2. Anyone have any pros & cons I should weigh?
