Hey all, Mike again,

Are you and your friend group the people who always know the actor before anyone else? Can you name Pokémon from their silhouettes, quote entire scenes from movies, remember obscure game lore, or explain the timeline of a fantasy series nobody else understands?

Then N'Quiztive might be your natural habitat.

We’ve put together a nerdy pop culture quiz night covering a huge mix of fandoms and genres, including:

  • Games
  • Movies
  • TV series
  • Anime
  • Comics
  • Fantasy
  • Sci fi
  • Cult classics
  • Internet culture

This isn't one of those hyper serious pub quizzes where everyone sits in silence terrified of losing a point. The goal is a fun night full of laughs, friendly rivalry, terrible team names, and finally having a use for all the random knowledge living in your brain.

And even if you do not know the answer, there is always the elusive Pity Point to compete for. If you can make Quizmaster Dean laugh with a funny wrong answer, he might just award you the point anyway.

Whether you come with a full team of trivia champions or just want an excuse to hang out with fellow geeks for an evening, you are welcome.

It’s just £5 per team of up to 4 people, and all of the money goes directly into the prize pool. That means the more teams that enter, the bigger the prizes get.

If you're interested in joining us, this month's N'QuizitiveB is at the Hampton by Hilton on Abbey Street on May 21st from 8pm. Keep an eye our for either me or Dean (we're very obvious) and we'll get you set up with an answer sheet!

To test the waters, here’s a warm up question:

What was the name of the tavern where the Fellowship first met Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings?

Bonus points if you can name the town as well.

Drop your answers below and feel free to argue passionately about fictional universes while you are here. It is Reddit after all.

Hey all, Mike from All Mana of Games again!

If you're in Nuneaton and looking for something a bit different to do this Saturday, Tabletop Nuneaton might be worth checking out.

It runs on the first Saturday of every month at the URC Hall on Chapel Street (next to PureGym), and it’s basically a full-day drop-in tabletop gaming event from 9am right through to 8pm.

What’s there:

  • Big board game library (or bring your own)
  • Wargaming tables + RPG sessions (pre-booked but free)
  • Trading card game space
  • A genuinely welcoming crowd (mix of total beginners and long-time players)
  • Bring & Buy tables

You can stay all day or just pop in for a couple of hours, there's no pressure either way. Entry is £5 for adults / £1 for kids 16 and under and free for under 5s, and you’re free to come and go as you please all day!

You might have seen here recently that we also do weekly socials, so it’s not some big formal thing, more like a relaxed, friendly hangout where you’ll get pulled into a game pretty quickly.

If you’ve ever thought about trying board games, D&D, Warhammer, card games, etc or just want to meet people locally that are into the same kind of hobbies this is probably one of the easiest ways to do it.

Happy to answer questions if anyone’s curious! Just drop me a message!
