Super minor gripe but I get a lil annoyed whenever I see videos rightfully calling something a jaguar and someone in the comments goes ‘uhh thats a black panther’ because they are NOT their own thing. What people call black panthers are usually melanistic jaguars or leopards. (But any melanistic cat in the panthera genus could be rightfully called a black panther)

While I’m here I will admit that I’m a pedantic asshole and get a little annoyed when people call cougars, cheetahs, etc big cats, as ‘big cats’ taxonomically refers to the panthera (Tigers, Lions, Leopards, Jaguars, and Snow Leopards), but since those are technically ‘cats that are big’ I’ll let it slide

“In her last moments, she thought of her family…” how would we POSSIBLY know that. Did she tell you that? Maybe that’s what she was thinking about, but unless that’s documented, don’t put it in the damn documentary for extra drama.

You don’t want to know how hard it was to convince my dad that giving chocolate milk to my cat was bad. It’s information that can be found out with literally one quick google search, and yet it turned into a week long ordeal and me sending him 10 different sources for him to finally admit it.

I’ve had people genuinely act like they’d never thought of that option before when I ask them to search something up. We have all the world’s knowledge at our fingertips why don’t you use it?

The “x amount of likes to do something” thing is fun when it’s something low stakes or stupid, because there’s no element of guilt tripping. Guilt tripping is one of the worst kinds of engagement farming imo.

Yes they are! And they likely feel pain too (though the level they feel it is still debated)

Like adults who go to disneyland and complain about there being too many kids, or people going to fast food and being mad it isn’t healthy, so on, so forth.

Like, you can participate all you want, I’m certainly into a lot of things I’m not the target audience for, but why be mad when it’s not catered to you? It’s like going to a sandwich shop and trying to buy drywall.

I see this a lot in unpopular opinion subreddits actually. On nearly every post theres a few comments going ‘oh my god you’re sooo different 🙄’ and the like. Brother it’s a place for sharing unpopular opinions. Do you go into a bird sanctuary and baulk when you see an owl too?
