What are the chances this comes back?

Hey guys, first time poster here!

I’ve had this Florida Ivy for a few months and some small birds thought it was the perfect place to nest (undoubtedly it was, because the babies hatched and eventually left). With that being said the birds kinda destroyed my plant in the process… I didn’t have the heart to move it when I first noticed the birds taking interest and now I regret it. Plant is seemingly dead and bird poop is all over my balcony 🫠. Anyways, I’ve heard stories of ivy plants coming back from the afterlife, so what do you guys think?

Here are some of my Fairy corys (Corydoras atropersonatus). I’ve had them for just over a month now and I seriously can’t get enough of them!

They’re hilarious to watch… constantly face-planting into the sand like they’re on a mission, then randomly just sitting there staring into space like their brain disconnected for a second.

Also featuring Nemo! He’s the little guy at the end. He got roughed up in transport with a short fin… he looks beat up, but he is eating and swimming like nothing ever happened!

I’ve been slowly transitioning the entire tank to sand after seeing how much they love it. I’ve been gradually layering fine black sand over the gravel, and they love to sift through it now.

Let me know what you guys think!
