I have a few AKG D8000 mics. When we multitrack sitting around the table, it’s not like each mic is picking up each other. But when I breathe normally it picks up air from my nose. If I touch the mid stand to move it it sounds like a knocked it over. If I sit my cup down quietly, it picks it up loudly.

Is my gain too high? Is there something I’m missing? Feel like in videos I see people touching the mic stand or boom arms, shuffling papers, drinking beverages, none of that sounds pick up. If I rest my arm on the table the mic makes sound like a thump.
