We can all be wizards!

We can all be wizards!

So I may have gone down a bit of a rabbit hole today, but a post I saw earlier sparked something amazing.
I made Wizarding World spell shortcuts for actions on my phone, then paired each one with a voice command :) so all I have to do is say the spell and the magic actually happens. No ‘Hey Siri’ necessary.
Say Quietus and my volume goes down. Say Sonorus and it goes up. Colloportus locks my phone. Rennervate plays my media. Avada Kedavra turns it off entirely.
I am fully operational as a witch! Now I just need a wand shaped smart phone 😂 I may get “smart lights” just to have more things to control in my home lol

Full list!

Confundo - opens Claude
Protego - Do Not Disturb on
Expelliarmus - WiFi and Bluetooth off
Colloportus - locks phone
Avada Kedavra - powers off phone
Wingardium Leviosa - airplane mode
Alohomora - opens a locked Note
Rennervate - plays media
Silencio - pauses media
Sonorus - volume up
Quietus - volume down
Finite - Home Screen
Mischief Managed - goes to home screen
Lumos Nox - flashlight off
Lumos - flashlight low
Lumos Maxima - flashlight high
I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good - opens Maps
Apparate - opens Maps to a saved destination
Revelio - weather

Siri has her own action for Accio! Follow Accio with a name of any app and it will open!

Edit to add steps for vocal shortcuts!

After setting up your shortcuts, here’s how to make them work hands-free with no Siri required!

Steps for Vocal Shortcuts:
Settings -> Accessibility -> Vocal Shortcuts (in ‘speech’ section)
Tap “Add Action” -> select any of your shortcuts -> follow the prompts. Add as many as you want!

Make sure that you are in the ‘speech’ section for the voice commands. Separate from the voice control in the ‘physical and motor’ section :)
