Only planted up last summer so I’m chuffed to bits
I just spent the best part of 6 hours on and off cleaning the kitchen floor on my hands and knees and scrubbing the tile grout with a toothbrush. When I finished I realised there would be no way I could have done that 6 or so months ago or I would have been exhausted, breathless and constantly going lightheaded from all the crouching and getting up. Thought I would share for those just starting their supplement journey, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Patience pays off in the end.
1x Ferrous fumarate 210mg (68mg elemental) every other day since August/ September 25 to present day. Always a couple of hours away from tea, dairy and PPI. Taken with 500mg slow release vitamin C.
I was just drinking my morning cuppa in the kitchen and noticed how dirty the grout was. I thought I’d test a patch with dish soap and cold water, an old toothbrush and a cloth. I literally can’t believe it. I know what I’m doing this morning!
Hayfever kicked in this week for me. F40 UK. I reached for my go-to, fexofenadine 180 + beconase. I always take medication at night as I hate waking up feeling all horrible. Fexofenadine 180 has always been a lifesaver but doesn’t feel like it’s fully controlling all my symptoms and I’m waking up with a sore throat, gluey eyes and stuffy nose.
One night I took a cetirizine whilst I was waiting for my prescription refill on fexo, and I woke up the next day feeling totally normal. I originally switched from cetirizine because it didn’t feel like it was working. What gives?!
I’ve been on iron tablets since last August to treat IDWA. Lots of symptoms are on the mend including fatigue, breathlessness, dizzy on standing after crouching, hair loss etc. Recently I noticed my nails look weird. Could it be from iron deficiency or do we think it’s something else? I’ll speak to the GP about it, just wondered if I have any fellow nail twins out there?
I’ve suffered terribly since I was a kid and now 40. Always been bad in June (grass pollen allergy) and this week started up with what I thought was cold / flu. Slept for hours on the sofa, woke up with a razor blade throat. It was only when a colleague mentioned potential allergies that I realised my old friend hayfever was back and early to the party! Cue frantic prescription ordering for a refill on Fexofenadine 180 and a couple of days on Beconase and I’m starting to feel a bit more human. Anyone else been caught out?
