I finished Amy Cross's Stephen last night.

It's not often that reading something makes me just sit and say, "Wtf did I just read?", but the infamous Chapter 28 of that book did just that.

Based on the lead up to the scene, I had an idea of what I was expecting to be going on on the other side of the doorway with Mrs. Brooks and the baby, but what actually went down took me completely off guard and made me take my noise cancelling headphones off and just kinda sit and stare at the wall for a few moments before continuing on.

What a wild ride the back half of that book was. A delightfully dark and deranged tale.
