My alevels start on May 11th and we aren’t allowed study leave during the exam season. My sixth form college (if that matters) has a weird structure where we only have two sessions a day. For the past month or so I have been frequently absent and revising at home. During lessons people are often disruptive which leads to no actual work being covered. Additionally, my school is below the national alevel grade average (C average grade ) and they tend to focus on lower impact AS topics in the revision lessons while i’m aiming for A*/.
My form tutor keeps sending me vaguely threatening messages (although she hasn’t overtly said i’ll be withdrawn) on teams and some of my friends said that they could withdraw from my exams even a week before or during as again there not giving study leave but atp i’m just planning on not coming in. Although they have an intervention plan system I was never on one as before this half term my attendance was at 90% although it is closer to 80% now, which is just above the threshold. Are they allowed to withdraw me if I take next week off and take my own study leave during exams. I’ve checked online and were past the free withdrawal deadline so they would have to pay a fee to do so i believe. I was predicted 4A*\s and the lowest i’ve ever gotten in mocks is AAB if that matters.
