AU concept - Lost and Found
I am working on writing this AU.
The idea is simple, The recital happens with no incident and everything is fine until the following summer where everyone of the friend group go on a day trip to the beach. But on this trip when they were packing up the car because Hero has his lincese and drove them there Kel realized he left his beach ball on the beach, Sunny being a good friend and recently started to take on more responsiblity runs back to grab it.
On his way back to the car, a van pulls up behind and a group of men kidnap him. Mari, the only one who, beside Sunny, hadn't gotten into the car, sees this happen. Then she gets into the car and tells Hero to drive after the van and calls the police, using a really old type of nokia phone for us. So while Mari is on the phone with the police Hero drives after the kidnappers, the plan is to follow the kidnappers until the police can take up the chase.
That was the plan until a drunk driver in a truck t-bones them. The crash is so bad the both Hero and Kel died immediately, Aubrey died in the hospital, Basil is left paralyzed in the legs, and Mari makes it out with no lasting effects. Though before the crash, Mari did tell the police the lincese plate of the van that the kidnappers where driving, so the kidnappers are tracked down a week later but Sunny isn't with them.
It turns out during the week after Sunny was taken, he managed to escape from the kidnappers though they were halfway a cross the country before they were caught. For the next three years leads on where Sunny could be where pretty common and showed he was constantly on the move until they completely stopped. Fast foward three years, Mari is twenty-two and still looking for Sunny, when a new lead shows up.
That is the general concept, in my current draft there are four chapters each following a different "character". The first two chapters are the presceptives on OCs then chapter three is Mari's persceptive then The final chapter is another character who I will not name here.
