I watched this movie in the middle of the night decades ago. Probably in the 1980s, but I think it was old even then. It was in color. All I really remember was that it was a little boy, barefoot, likely only in shorts, fighting a giant fish from a boat. His feet and hands were bloody, and there were adult men there (likely his Dad as well as at least one other), and the kid wouldn't give up. I have never been able to get it out of my head, maybe because my own father regularly went deep sea fishing for marlin and the movie scene was so dramatic. I think it had that kind of 1970s vibe.
