FAANG Engineer unsatisfied with job
I’m a 25 yr old software engineer working a in big tech and earning well. Hear me out : I’m going through my sun mahadasha and it will end in about 2 years, past few years have been great career wise but I’m not enjoying my job as such.
I’m having a deep rooted desire of doing something so great while in my 20s(preferably before getting married) that i dont have to worry about money or anything for rest of my life, and I’m certain that my job wont suffice.
Recently one of our senior ( an exceptional software engineer whom i used to admire a lot) left his job to become an ias officer. I’m deeply touched and feeling like i shall also give it a shot. Prepare along my job and see where things go.
But but but, the thing is I’ll be running moon dasha from 2028 April. And moon is not very well placed in my chart as you can see, and post that a mangal mahadasha that’s also okkayishly placed.
I’m looking for suggestions that shall i even give it a shot or its not worth it - basically I’m not sure if I’ll make it or not and i cant convince myself to give away my time in this and regret later for what all good i could have achieved. Also I’d some suggestions on what will be the right career for me in long term cause i dont think I’m doing very well at my current job.
