Western medsci or Mac lifesci?

I have been trying to decide between these two for the past week, and can't come to a choice. I want to eventually go to medical or dental school.

From what I understand so far, you specialize in year 2 at mac, the workload is easier to maintain GPA, and its a smaller community.

At western, I hear that it is more rigorous, but you get guaranteed research after specializing, and most of the course material is MCAT-related so it helps study for that.

For me, mac would be much cheaper as I would only live there first year, whereas at western I would need to live there all 4 years, and I'm not sure if the cost is worth it.

Any current students in either program or highschool students who have looked into this, please share your advice to help me make a decision. Particularly, I want to know more about courseloads, research opportunities, and ECs.
