Hi,

I’m starting with 3D computer vision and want to try a simple face detection project on my laptop.

I have some basic experience with Python and 2D computer vision (using OpenCV), but I’m new to 3D concepts.

What would be the simplest way to begin with 3D face detection?

- Should I start with RGB images and extend to 3D?

- Or directly use something like depth data or point clouds?

Also, are there any beginner-friendly tools or libraries you’d recommend?
